Plume Plotter
This website shows the current state of air pollution caused by emissions from planned (and existing) incinerators. It was created by a non-expert who wanted to get an objective idea about the everyday effects of a proposed local incinerator on air quality. It was then made available as a free service to other local residents and anyone else interested. Since then, it has been rolled out to many other incinerators and related sources of air pollution.
