Open Protest Network has produced a great video promoting the new report by UK Without Incineration Network on the UK’s incineration overcapacity, which will hurt efforts to increase recycling.
The new UKWIN report shows significant incineration overcapacity across England once plants under construction and waste reduction targets are considered. This raises serious concerns about the many proposals to build yet more incinerators, including the proposed Horsham incinerator, construction of which has not started.
